Same-day tune-ups
A full safety check, drivetrain clean, gear and brake adjustment. In by lunch, out by closing on most weekdays.
Brake & gear service
Cable and hydraulic brakes, indexed shifting, worn cassettes and chains. We fix the cause, not just the symptom.
Wheel truing & builds
Wobbles straightened, spokes replaced, hand-built wheels on request. Bring the wheel or the whole bike.
E-bike servicing
Motor diagnostics, firmware, brake and drivetrain work on Bosch, Shimano and Bafang systems.
Winter storage
Heated, secure indoor storage from November through April, with a spring tune-up bundled in.

Two mechanics, both former racers.
We spent years lining up at criteriums and gran fondos before we hung the wrenches in this old boathouse. That means we understand a bike that needs to be race-ready on Saturday, and we’re just as happy sorting out a commuter that hasn’t been touched since last summer.
No jargon, honest quotes, and we’ll tell you when a repair isn’t worth the money.

A few things worth mentioning before you head down.
- Do I need an appointment?Nope. Walk in any time we’re open and we’ll take a look. For bigger jobs it helps to drop the bike off in the morning.
- How long will my repair take?Most tune-ups and adjustments are same-day. Anything needing ordered parts we’ll quote a turnaround before we start.
- Do you service e-bikes?Yes — Bosch, Shimano and Bafang systems, plus most rear-hub setups. Bring the charger and key if you have them.
- What about bikes you didn’t sell?We work on anything with two wheels. We don’t sell new bikes, so every bike in the stand is one someone brought us.
